Since 2011, I've been blessed to walk with all ages in clinical practice specializing in issues regarding mental health, complex trauma, grief and loss, recovery, life transitions, illness, difficult in relationships and personal growth through the use of a variety of expressive arts modalities and traditional talk therapy. I am a registered master therapeutic counsellor, registered art therapist, art therapy supervisor, and am on faculty art therapy at the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute.
Aligning with an anti-oppressive, trauma informed and strength-based approaches, I trust that each of us is our own expert in our journey. Indigenous methodologies, phenomenology, CBT, attachment and relational theoretical frameworks help offer my work contextual solutions to universal life challenges and healing. Experience has taught me to connect to what truly wants to unfold in a therapeutic process and attune to what is being called in for change.
I'm passionate about allyship and recognize I'm on a lifelong journey of learning and unlearning. I am versed in working with complex trauma (current and ancestral) and celebrate what the Elders call “intelligent survival skills” within each of us. I aim to provide holistic and ethical care that is culturally and spiritually aware & sensitive. I hold close our collective strengths and our roots, the weight of core issues and interwoven trajectories.
Let's celebrate our endless capacity for healing & change!
